Rom  Bios  stands  for  Read  Only  Memory  Basic  Input  Output  Services.
Basically,  Bios  contains  the  routines  that  run  all  of your PC's I/O
devices, including the  Monitor,  and  Disk  Drives...  DOS  also  supplies
functions  that do many of the same things. I suppose "Illegimate" uses are
the nasty low-level programs we've been talking about... Frank
