demo.gif is a screen snapshot of a version of nvi-m17n,
used on kterm 6.2.0.  You can see the true multibyte editing environment!

Please note that,
- IRV was not supported by nvi at that time (it is now supported)
- chinese font support of kterm 6.2.0 has been incorrectly configured
  (my fault)
